I am Lauren Hurst, a professional freelance artist based in Edmonton, Canada-- and the face behind Lauren Aimee Art!

I work primarily with oil and acrylic paints, aiming to create enchanting dreamscapes with vivid colours and bold, impressionistic brushstrokes.

​

Since childhood I have felt deep connection to nature, and in my spare time you can count on finding me surrounded by mountains, forests or water (or in a dream world- all three!) 

I am also deeply inspired by travel and adventure. Whether it be from my time spent studying abroad along the beautiful Great Barrier Reef, working in the heart of the iconic Canadian Rockies, or backpacking around Europe- I have found sources of inspiration for my art wherever I go.
