This luminous original painting has sold, but due to popular demand I am happy to now offer quality hand-embellished canvas prints!
About the piece:
It was created in conjunction with Resound Choir in Oshawa, and inspired by their spring concert rendition of “Choose Something Like a Star”, a Robert Frost poem.
The willow tree symbolizes the growth and hope that comes from difficult and dark times. I hope to depict the way life is constantly reflecting back to us the lessons or feelings we need, if we are paying attention.
About the prints:
These prints will include accents of vibrant metallic gold leaf added on by hand, capturing the light in a really beautiful way and adding a magical feel to the finished look that is closer to the original painting. This also means every single reproduction is slightly unique!
The reproductions are offered in two sizes- 16 x 20” (the same size as the original) , as well as 10” x 12”, for those who may prefer a smaller rendition. Both come on a gallery wrapped canvas 0.75” in depth. This allows for a polished look without the need for framing!
All prints will be hand-signed by the artist and varnished for dirt and dust protection.
Thanks so much for your support on this piece, and a special thanks to Resound Choir for allowing me to be a part of their beautiful spring concert!
*please note: due to local print shop staff shortages, combined with shipping delays and the manual time spent on each piece- prints may take up to three weeks to arrive to you!*
