This is a 9 x 12" original mixed media piece on .5” deep stretched canvas. It was painted using both acrylic and oil paint, and then coated with a beautiful layer of resin for a glass-like finish.
When the light catches the piece, iridescent shimmers of blue and gold accents reflect through and its is truly magical.
This painting represents a metamorphosis. It serves to remind us how often healing happens gradually and quietly, so it is not until we take a moment to truly stop and reflect, that we can see how far we have come.
