It was inspired by the East Asian mythology that two souls can be connected by an invisible red thread their whole lives. The thread will tangle and stretch, but will never break. No matter the time, space or circumstance, the two tied together are destined to meet.
This textured original piece was created using pan pastel, charcoal, acrylic paint, spackling paste and red string.
Artwork is printed professionally using the Giclée method. They come hand-embellished (meaning select colours and accents are painted onto each print) and signed by the artist.

Fine Art Prints – Artwork is printed on 308 gsm heavyweight cotton fine art paper with a matte finish. This is your best option if you'd like to frame your artwork.
Stretched Canvas Print – Artwork is printed on a poly-cotton blend canvas, stretched 1.5" deep across kiln-dried Canadian basswood. It has a soft satin finish and comes with the hardware already attached, so you can hang it without the need to frame!
