This is a mixed media painting combining charcoal, ink, real pressed/dried flowers and an excerpt from my original poem.
 
With this piece, I aimed to evoke feelings of raw vulnerability. It represents both grieving the loss of one's childlike innocence, balanced by the blossoming growth that is inevitable throughout that process.
 
The original piece has sold, but I offer art prints in various options!

Artwork is printed on satin paper with vivid colours and a soft satin gloss finish.

Fine Art Prints —
 
Artwork is printed on heavyweight cold-pressed fine art paper with a matte finish. Each print is then hand-embellished, meaning I paint directly onto the print certain highlights and shadows to create added elements of depth closer to the original piece.

Canvas Prints —
 
Artwork is printed on a stretched canvas across a 1.5" deep back-frame, with the edges mirroring the artwork. These are also hand-embellished and come ready to hang. (No need to frame)
